Fourteen days to change your mind

You can cancel a purchase within fourteen days without giving a reason. The fourteen days start on the day you, or someone you named, physically receive the goods. If an order arrives in several parcels, they start on the day the last one arrives.

Merch is embroidered to order, but that does not take this right away: you choose a size from a fixed list rather than specifying something made to your own measurements, so the exemption for personalised goods does not apply here.

How to cancel

Email guus@guuslab.com before the fourteen days are up and say clearly that you are cancelling. Quoting your order number is enough; you do not have to use any particular wording, and you do not have to explain yourself. You can use the form at the bottom of this page, but you are not obliged to.

Once you have told the studio, you have another fourteen days to send the goods back. You get a return address by reply, so nothing goes missing at an old one.

What it costs you

Return postage is yours to pay when you are simply changing your mind. Merch is made individually after you order it and cannot be resold, so the studio cannot absorb the postage as a larger shop would.

This does not apply when something is faulty, damaged or not what you ordered. Then the studio pays the return postage and you are refunded in full. See the guarantee on the terms page.

Condition

Handle the goods only as you would in a shop. You may try a shirt on to see whether it fits. If it comes back worn beyond that, washed, or without its labels, the studio may reduce the refund by the loss of value, and will say why rather than simply refunding less.

Your money back

You are refunded everything you paid, including the delivery cost built into the price, within fourteen days. The refund may be held until the goods are back or you have shown proof of posting, whichever comes first. It goes back by the same method you paid with, and costs you nothing.

Faulty or wrong orders

If a parcel arrives damaged, misstitched or simply not what you ordered, send a photograph to guus@guuslab.com. It is remade or refunded, whichever you prefer, and the postage is never yours to pay.
