GuusLab is an independent studio for design, type and software, founded in Maarssen, Netherlands, in 2023.
GuusLab is an independent studio in the Netherlands, founded in 2023. The work runs from brand systems and variable typefaces to full products with the infrastructure underneath them.
No handoffs between departments, because there are no departments. What gets designed gets built, and what gets built gets maintained.

Logo
- Use the files as they are. Scale them; never redraw, stretch, rotate, recolour or add effects.
- White on dark grounds, black on light ones. There is no colour version.
- Keep the width of the icon's counter, the hole in the icon, clear on every side.
- Below 96 px wide, use the icon on its own.
- Written as one word: GuusLab. Not Guuslab, Guus Lab or GUUSLAB.

Each section of the site wears one pair. The ink is always the page colour inverted, 255 minus each channel. All palettes are in the kit.
Type
GuusLab Sans is drawn in house and is not licensed for distribution, so it is not in the kit. Set text about the studio in your own house style.
